German Intended Parents Webinar
Webinar · For Mexican Surrogacy Agencies & IVF Clinics

The eight legal problems that decide whether a German case flies — or fails.

And the eight-component framework that solves every one of them. From intake through German civil-status entry.

DateMonday, November 2, 2026 · 6:00 pm German Time (CET) Format90-minute live session · recording included PresenterMandy Pecher, Esq., LL.M., MBA · German and U.S. attorney Investment€497 · includes the eight deliverable templates

Delivered in English. Recording available for 14 days.

You have had that call. A German father, six weeks post-birth, on the other end of the line, saying the words no agency owner ever wants to hear: "The German consulate will not issue the passport." The medicine went right. The surrogate did everything asked. Your notario delivered on time. And the case still collapses — because the legal execution on the German side was never built to succeed.

— The problem every Mexican-German surrogacy agency has to solve exactly once.

Who this is for

Three seats in the room, three specific reasons to be here.

01

Surrogacy agency owners

If your agency is losing German prospects to legal ambiguity — or taking German cases that later collapse into refunds and reputation damage — this session hands you the operational stack that closes the gap.

02

IVF clinic directors

If your clinic serves cross-border intended parents and referring German cases feels like a coin toss, this session gives your team the intake filter, contract language, and post-birth playbook to make German cases predictable pipeline.

03

Cross-border program managers

If you run the operational side of an international program and want German cases to run the same way every time — trainable, delegable, defensible — this is the framework you install once and every intake after runs on rails.

The agenda

Eight problems. Eight components. One integrated stack.

The 90 minutes split into two halves. In the first half we walk through the eight legal problems that decide whether a Mexican-German case flies or collapses. In the second half, the eight-component framework — one component per problem — with the actual deliverable template you take home from each.

Part One · 30 minutesThe eight problems

1
The German surrogacy prohibition§ 1 ESchG criminalizes German-based intermediation. What that means for you in Mexico.
2
Motherhood — § 1591 BGBWhy the birth mother is the legal mother in Germany, even with a donor egg.
3
FatherhoodWhy German paternity presumptions do not automatically transfer.
4
Recognition — § 108 FamFGThe five conditions the German family court reviews. Miss one, the case reroutes.
5
CitizenshipWhy the child's German passport hangs entirely on the recognized parent relationship.
6
Elective home GermanyHow the family's actual Bundesland shapes registrar practice and case outcomes.
7
Tax and costParallel German legal costs, inheritance exposure, tax residency effects.
8
Wrong country choiceThe single largest predictor of case failure — and how to counsel intended parents through it.

Part Two · 60 minutesThe eight components that solve them

1
The Recognition Decision TreeOne-page flowchart. Every German inquiry screened in under 90 seconds.
2
The Red-Flag Screening Protocol12-question intake filter with traffic-light scoring and hard-block overrides.
3
The Cross-Border Contract Rider14-clause addendum that bolts onto your existing surrogacy contract.
4
The Baby Home to Germany PlaybookSix-phase, day-by-day sequence — delivery room to Kinderreisepass in six weeks.
5
The Same-Sex Recognition PathThe specific pathway for German rainbow-family intended parents — a market segment almost no one serves well.
6
The Liability Shield LetterOne-page signable disclosure that ends "nobody warned us" lawsuits before they start.
7
The Referral Partnership FrameworkDocumented 5% / 7% commission structure turning every German case into recurring revenue.
8
The BGH Cheat SheetThree landmark decisions on one page — the reference card your intake team actually memorizes.

Investment

One case saved pays it back many times over.

A single German case failure costs an agency between €30,000 and €80,000 when you count refund exposure, escalated legal fees, staff hours, and referral relationships burned on the way out. The framework in this webinar is designed to prevent that failure at intake. On downside protection alone, €497 for the ninety minutes and the eight templates is asymmetric.

And the same framework opens a market segment most Mexican agencies underserve — where typical case values run €80,000-plus and referrals compound within tight German networks. The upside is the other side of the same coin.

Option C

Active Pipeline · €997 / month
Counsel of Record · €2,497 / month
  • Monthly screening calls at your tier's cadence
  • Priority scheduling
  • Quarterly BGH doctrine briefings

Option B

The Referral Partnership

No cost to activate
Recurring revenue on referred cases
Best for

Agencies who route German clients to counsel regularly.

  • 5% commission on every €997 IP webinar registration you refer
  • 7% of the €15,800 retainer fee on Mexico, Columbia and Ukraine referral cases
  • 7% of the €17,500 retainer fee on U.S., Canada and South Africa referral cases
  • Handoff scripts and co-branded materials
  • Quarterly reconciliation
  • Named counsel for every referred case

One case at a time, Option A. Ongoing access, Option C. Recurring revenue on referred clients, Option B. Any combination is fine — most agencies at scale run all three. You choose.

Questions we get every week

Answers.

Is my agency criminally exposed for taking German cases in Mexico?
No. § 1 of the Embryonenschutzgesetz (ESchG) criminalizes German-based intermediation of surrogacy — it does not extend extraterritorially to Mexican agencies serving intended parents who travel to Mexico. This is a documented and defensible position under German criminal-law scholarship. We walk through the specific analysis on the live session.
My agency has never taken a German case. Is this webinar useful for us?
Yes — arguably more useful. The framework is designed to let agencies open the German market with defensible legal infrastructure from day one, rather than learn on live cases. Every deliverable applies whether you have taken zero German cases or twenty.
How long does the § 108 FamFG recognition proceeding really take?
Typical range 3 to 6 months from filing, provided the intake and contract were built correctly. Cases with missing egg-donor documentation, undisclosed prior proceedings, or ordre public objections extend materially — sometimes to 12 or 14 months if the case routes to stepchild adoption fallback. The Screening Protocol and Contract Rider are designed to keep cases in the shorter window.
Will the deliverables work for U.S., South African, or other cross-border configurations?
The framework is designed for the German-side legal architecture — which is jurisdiction-of-arrival-driven, not jurisdiction-of-origin-driven. The Decision Tree, Contract Rider, Screening Protocol, and Playbook adapt naturally to U.S.-based and South Africa-based cases with intended parents in Germany. The webinar focuses on Mexico because it is the underserved segment right now, but the components travel.
What if we cannot attend live? Is the replay enough?
Yes. The recording is a full-fidelity replay of the live session, available for 14 days. Deliverable templates ship the same way to live attendees and replay viewers — within 24 hours of the live broadcast. The only thing you lose with the replay is the live Q&A, which we make available in text form for replay viewers as well.
Is this legal advice? Can we use the templates as-is?
The templates are working baselines drawn from live practice — not legal advice for any specific case or jurisdiction. Every live deployment requires customization for the intended parents' specific configuration, Bundesland of residence, and current doctrinal posture. The FACT-Finder Consultation exists exactly for that customization on a specific case. Live legal representation is separately available.
